Court Installation
Huasutile modular court tiles snapped together on any hard flat surface – concrete, asphalt, compacted gravel or existing paving. No adhesive, no power tools, no specialist crew. Most full basketball court builds are done in a single day by 4 people.
4 Bases you can build on
The only requirement is flat, stable surface. Here is what works, and what each base needs before the first tile goes down.
Concrete
Clean, level and dry. Sweep off dust and confirm a 1%~2% fall so water runs off.
Asphalt
Patch cracks wider than 5mm and make sure the surface is stable, not crumbling at the edges.
Compacted gravel
Compact to 95%+ density, then top with 10mm of grit sand and level. The most common base for new builds.
Existing paving
Loose or uneven slabs must be re-set and joints filled. Tiles follow the surface below, so level it first.

Chalk the reference row
Every tile after it lines up square to the court.
Lock the snap-together joints
A firm mallet tap seats each connection for good.
Cut and fit the borders
Trim edge tiles for a clean, sealed perimeter.
Four Mistakes That Cost a Weekend
None of them are hard to avoid – if you know they are coming.
Run a 2m straight-edge across the base – a 5mm dip shows through every tile.
Let concrete cure and dry 24h first – tiles won’t seat on trapped moisture.
Leave 10mm at walls and fixed edges – heat makes tiles grow in summer.
Slight shade shifts appear between lots – use one batch per court.
Before you start
Not directly. You need a hard, flat base - concrete, asphalt, or compacted gravel.
No. The tiles click together and stay put under play - no glue, no screws, no contractors needed.
About one working day with for helpers, covering up to one standard basketball court (92ftx50ft).
Yes. A utility knife trims edge tiles for a clean, sealed perimeter.
Yes. Water drains straight through the open tile base tile base - no puddles after rain.
